    - Passed IBT, 10 pass, small FFT.
    - Passed IBT, 10 pass, 90% ram usage.

So at this point, do I start increasing the fsb?
I would start with raising the FSB up say 10 MHz. One thing you need to keep in mind with your ram at a 2:00D you can only go so high on the FSB. You should be able to hit 450 without proplems.

Ok. Would 2.00B be a better option?

No it would basically yield the same thing just a different memory speed and above a certain MHz D is better. I'd have to find the post about it but I think above 400 MHz D is better below that B is better. Don't quote me on that though and go with D

    B Strap = 333 MHz the D strap = 400 MHz.

Ok. At 435 fsb, I can pass IBT, 10 pass, small FFT. When I try to run a 10 with 90% ram usage, it fails. I upped the MCH 2 notches (1.18) & raised the vcore to 1.275 to no avail. I returned the MCH to 1.10 & vcore 1.2685.

Try this set CPU Termination to 1.200 then manually set CPU & MCH Reference voltage to .780, then Set CPU Termination back to 1.24. Doing this should automatically raise both CPU & MCH References to ~ 64% of CPU Termination.

The set Dram Voltage to 1.8v then manually set MCH/Dram Reference & Dram Termination Reference to .900, then set Dram Voltage back to 2.10v Those two should be 1/2 of the Dram Voltage.

I made the changes and still failed IBT. So I went into the bios and loaded optimized defaults. I then rebooted & went into the bios and reloaded the settings. I ran IBT again at 5 pass (thought I chose 10 pass), 90% ram usage and passed. Shall we go higher?

I went to 435 fsb and tried IBT, 10 pass, small FFT. When I hit the start button, it immediately rebooted. Upon reboot, I tried again. Again it failed. I wound up passing IBT, 10 pass, small FFT by increasing the vcore to 1.2875. When I tried IBT again with 90% ram usage, it failed. I reverted back to my 425 settings for the moment. Any suggestions.

I dont know that much about the ds3r ,but you may not get the same results as the ud3 ones.
The clock timer being out doesnt sound very encouraging.
What are those pwer on voltages in et6 they look a bit high.

For mch voltage for 490 fsb I have to use 1.38v, higher for 500(that may be due to my gskill ram)
northbridge temp at standard volts at idle is approx 3 degrees higher at 1.38v.Thats just for information.
Its not so much the cpu speed for me as the low cpu multiplier,480-500 seems to be as high as most people go on 775 quads.

Im wondering on your cpu ViD.its 1.25 v?
I wouldnt expect much serious cpu overclock with the cpu operating at much less than that under load.Ie cpu-z shows it at 1.21 under load.

If it was me id have it at about 1.28 in bios and see what adjustments id have to make on mch or memvoltage n timings to get stable.
get one varible out of the way.. or see what max mem speed you can get with a multiplier on and cpu speed closer to standard n eliminate the memory adjustments for awhile etc.

Still Im sure conners will sensei all the stuff he has done your way ;0

Yeah Sensei Conners has been great. He's put my ram in its place.

My vid is 1.25. The drop on this board is insane. My core voltage will drop under 1.20 when under load. As for the MCH, before Conners started tweaking the ram, I needed 1.36-1.40 get any decent o/c. Seeing I am now still at 1.10 (stock), I now know I was concentrating on the wrong settings.

As for the power on column on ET6, I asked the same question but have not gotten any feedback. I'm interested in knowing what that column represents.

Hey you might try lowering your ICH/IO to default voltage of 1.50V. Raising Dram Termination and MCH/Dram Reference to 1.050. Raise vcore one notch. Raise (in bios) CPU & MCH Reference to as close as you can get to .77293 Probably one click from stock...

Also may need a little MCH core.

Try those out and see wot happens. Post your curren bios also just to make sure we on the same page ...
