    Yep, sorry I meant 2.0B.

Also trying 2.0D would be reasonable. Worth a go if issues still remain.

Why the 1066 settings? My ram is 800 isn't it, or am I missing something...

Link to my ram, I have 2 sets of these:

Looks like DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) to me by your link.

I corrected myself 4 hours before you posted. To avoid confusion, it's best to read all posts in the thread and not just the one you're sent via e-mail. I've done that myself and missed points etc.

    Making progress over here!

I'm at 60% of Pass 1 with ZERO errors (woohoo).

Honestly, I'm not sure what I did differently, started with one stick, loaded optimized defaults, and applied all of your posted settings Psycho101 except for the SMM and the driving strength profiles (in your original posts you had 1066 based settings, I made these 2.4B, 800). Either this was the difference between what I did last time, or perhaps disabling the USB storage.

Anyways, after a couple of sucessful passes (fingers crossed), I'll repost all of my settings, perhaps you can assist in additional tweaking of CPU speed, or maybe there is additional tightening that can be done? Not to be greedy.

    Thanks!

Wow, THAT was too weird, no sooner than I posted that last message (via my laptop of course), I began to get errors on Test #7 (Random Number Sequence)!!!!

63% of Pass 1, I thought we had it fixed!

    Thoughts???

Note: I reran Memtest with the same settings (above) and it started erroring on Test 1. Wouldn't the errors occur in the same Tests on reruns with identical settings?

    Where to next?

You have C1E and EIST enabled. I'm running 4x2GB PI Black (5-5-5-15 1.8V, 4-4-4-12 1.9V EPP) and getting verification errors when burning DVD with those options enabled. I didn't get any error on Memtest though, so those 2 may not be critical.
Other than that, I only needed to manually set standard timings (5-5-5-15), tRFC (71), Performance Level (10, 2.00B), MCH Core (1.32V), ICH Core (1.2V), and DRAM Volt (1.92V). My settings are based on what member 4x64 uses, so credits go to him.
I wonder why you leave Memtest running after getting the first error. I don't think anybody can pinpoint the source of errors in any phase of the tests, so waiting for more errors shouldn't be necessary. I'd just reset, make adjustments, then restart Memtest.
I'm pretty sure you don't get the errors at the same point of the test. Otherwise, there wouldn't be the need to run it for multiple passes.
    Good luck.

Usually the same fault will cause failure at the same points in a full run of all tests in Memtest86+.

It's run multiple times because slight errors in configuration may not show up until multiple pases have been completed and are due to natural variation, heat related, etc etc. In the same way a system can fail prime95 after many hours, RAM can fail Memtest after many passes.

You can further expedite the process of testing by just looping the parts of the run, eg test 5, that produce errors.
