Yes, I have tried to sleep with the same results. After sleep I try to wake and screen stays dark and PC keeps rebooting. Going to try to get those numbers closer now.

I just raise it one notch and ran test. I think I am going the wrong way as my numbers got worse. Am I right ? Shoud I go lower instead of higher?

It's expected to get lower results using less memory, you can use max stress lever but it takes much more time with more memory.
Make one run with the settings you originally had to have a base for comparisone. Close all progras aside ET6 and CoreTemp while running the test. Also wait a bit after boot to late windows finish loading services and be completely idle.
I'm not sure what vcore range to expect with Q6600 OC to 3.2GHz but probably above defaults VID, which btw what is it(the left value in BIOS)?

I am not talking about the overall number being lower, I am talking about the 0.01 difference G flops.

That's why I suggested a base run with the settings you originally had, for comparison.
Maybe the differences are smaller with more memory.

You want me to run for a base with my current values in bios of 1.325v at a "Very High" setting which is about 4096mb of mem? Then from there keep raising in ET6 till I get those numbers closer? I am sorry little confusing. How do we know the voltage needs to go higher and not lower? Just curious as to how you come to that. I will get you that vid number in a sec. again Thank you..

In the mean time here are the some of the results I got so far before getting that new base number. Am I right in thinking that 1.31875 gave me better numbers so far?

From my short experience, higher voltage than needed (withing specs limit) does not make the results worse (neither better,) just produce more heat.
When the right vcore level reached usually results will increase a little, be more close to each other, and core temps may raise 5c+.

If you're trying to get your system stable for s3, give it up. I've got a system that can run 24hr prime runs overclocked and it still can't s3 sleep. Its a bios issue, not an user issue. The only thing you can do is pressure gigabyte and hope they finally get off their asses and fix the problem thats plaguing 50-75% of their boards.

If you really really want s3,the only things you can do are

1)back your overclock down by lowering the fsb to where s3 is still working. It usually is around 400 fsb. It'll give you alousy overclock, but s3 will still work.

    2) buy an MSI, ASUS, or Ibit board. Asus boards occasionally have overclock s3 problems, but for the most part they are few and far between. MSI and Ibit have almost non existent issues.

but again man its not you. nothing you can do in your bios will fix it. its a hal detection, windows sum, bios engineer thing that plagues pretty much every p45 board gigabyte has out on the market.

    cheers.

After I rebooted to get you that info which is 1.21250v for the original vcore voltage, I ran into problems and my system wouldn't boot back into 3.2mhz I got cmos checksum errors and had to reset everything and do over. I did have to change some settings to get it to boot properly.

Advance Timing Control I put back to defaults
    trrd-3
    twtr-3
    twr-6
    trfc-54
    trtp-3
    Command Rate-Auto

Also left Static tread value to Auto

I rebooted then and ran base test.....
