    but again man its not you. nothing you can do in your bios will fix it. its a hal detection, windows sum, bios engineer thing that plagues pretty much every p45 board gigabyte has out on the market.

    I guess they are acceptable, if increasing vcore does not make them better, I would still try a bit higher vcore, at least up to 1.35v.
    The problem with waking from S3 is that we don't know the reason it doesn't wake up so there is but to experiment.
    I would try more CPU termination, 1.22-1.26v, perheps one or two ticks up PLL.
    For me CPU Referenced fixed it, but you have two of them and I don't know if it's one for each die, or each one for both but different purpose.

    Yes Chike, the two CPU ref's are per die (CPU Ref 1 = core 0/1 - CPU Ref 2 Core 2/3) On BIOS where you only get one to adjust the other is locked at defaults

    Please give me your full current settings and BIOS version and I will see if I can help you get S3 squared away. I am not sure if it is fully fixed for UD3P yet, but I do think it has been

    You have mis-matched memory in your signature, is that what you are using? If so, this could be the cause as well. If not, please let me know which set you are using so I can look it up

    While you wait, I do think you need to change a few things.

    Set this to Auto since you are using default for now, but you may want to look into adjusting this for stability and or testing-how to is in my signature

    I suggest you set a higher Vtt as well, maybe 1.225-1.34 for now, and set your own tRD (Static tRead value) to 8-9 for now.

    Please also use 399 or 401 instead of 400 exactly. I would also, no matter which ram you are using, set 1.9-1.94V, if you are using both you may need to set 2.0V+

    Yes, I am using two different rams 8 Gigs total. I am out the door right now to work will try those settings this afternoon.

    mis-matched ram is likely a huge factor in your issues. They do not even use close to the same IC Chips and I would recommend that you do not run things like this or you will never find stability

    I changed settings and I was able to resume Sleep! ! Here are my new settings I went with the higher numbers to start.

    For "VTT" I am assuming you mean CPU Termination? That's what I changed. What do I do from here work the numbers down or leave them?

    Also, I notice one thing when I restart my computer the last couple of days. It powers down, then up, then down again and up and finally boots up. Kind of what the S3 mode was doing except it would boot. Can't remember if it always did that as I leave it on 24/7.

    Anyway, going to try Sleep again and restarts to see if it works.

    Reboot loops or miltiple boots usually indicate settings problem, do you get the red warning when entering MIT after those?

    Not from a normal restart.

    Well, I just tried Sleep again and this time it didn't resume back 100%, but It did not keep rebooting. My monitors stayed dark and pc appeared to be running.
