K, good luck! Could all be your memory though, not sure as I have not used this brand or those speeds on X58. Do you know anyone who is using that exact combo, just wondering

    Ahh ok!

Well I am not saying it is an issue, I just wondered if you had found anyone using the combo. I will look around myself now.

It is on the QVL anyway it think right so I doubt it is an issue. At least I think it may be, sorry I thought you posted the model #. Can you please give me the exact model # of your memory

Well I see users on google using the combo so it must be ok. It is not in the QVL though, and I do remember several DDR2 users having issues with the plain XMS line

Let me know how you get along with the suggested settings I gave you

I do remember this user having issues with that model as well

lol, that was me and I did originally have issues.
It turned out that I had a dodgy dimm, when I replaced it everything was fine.

I'll have a look around as well and see if I can find anyone using the same combo.

Ahhaha sorry, I did not glance at the user name on that post! HAHA

Everything was fine? How is that, you are having issues now. Or did you just mean those issues were resolved with the new ram?

Well I am about to leave, try out my previous suggestions later when you have time and let me know how you get along
