sometimes you have to raise bclk to get to your rams rated speed like mine @1800mhz i raised cpu to 180 otherwise i would hav had to underclock my ram or cpu

    Yep, me to some times.
But in his case, he can use 2:12 (screenshot 1) with a bclk of 133. That should give him 1596mhz mem...

Op, both ways should work, + that CPU is asking to be OC'd :)

I suggest disable XMP For sure, then set things manually as suggested

If you do not want to overclock the CPU let us know. To find out what memory multi's you have please open System Memory Multiplier and see what options you have

I do suggest setting ALL of this yourself and not using XMP at all.

I take it this memory was not made for P55 right? Looks like it is not, and rated to run 1600Mhz using 1.9V which I suggest against really.

I would say 1.75-1.8 would be pushing it for sure for a normal user. And even in order to use those you would need at least 1.25-1.3 QPI/Vtt at minimal not 1.1V. Proper QPI/Vtt for 1.9V would be 1.4 or more, not 1.1 as your XMP Profile suggest which is yet another reason to disable and set things manually.

Sorry to let you know this, but I do highly suggest you RMA or return this memory and buy a set made for P55 or X58 so you can run 1600Mhz with the safe voltages in the 1.65V area otherwise if you try to push this kit to at lower ram voltages you may end up frying your CPU trying to get 1600Mhz stable since it was only made to do so with 1.9V and was not made for your platform
