    Default GA-EP45-UD3P and new RAM

    I just got the new RAM in...I want to know if theres anything I should know when I'm installing it...here is the RAM

    G.Skill Pi Black PC2-6400 4GB Kit - Introduction - DriverHeaven.net

    4gb of it.

    Here are my specs

    Q9300
    GA-EP45-UD3P
    this ram now
    Nvidia 9800t
    antec neopower 950w

    I have an EP45-UD3R and G.Skill Pi Black PC2-7200 4GB, and found this:
    (which may or may not apply to your setup)

    The G.Skill RAM has EPP profiles, but the UD3R only "officially" reads XMP profiles.
    I had to resort to manual BIOS tweaking to get the faster EPP profile settings, otherwise only some of the EPP profile settings were copied by the MOBO and some of the other settings came from the slower JDEC profile.

    I'm very happy with it now once I got it configured. My main conundrum was what to set the DRAM voltage to. I decided on 2.0V.
