    Okay so the last few replies went over my head so I am reading the 23 page thread and I will probably fire a few questions tomorrow.

    The initial problems still is what did Kingston do the memory that has all of this going crazy. They seem to have changed something in the memory on top of the crazy prices for 4gb now. ($100+)

    Update:

    I have the comp running okay today with 6gb but when I go to 8gb it crashes at 3.8

    ... I really want to learn this stuff so more reading when I get a chance.

    for 8gb your gonna need to increase MCH voltage. You may also not be able to run 8gb of ram at its rated speed you may have to down clock it as its a lot of stress on the mb to run that much. Follow the link from my sig to get a bios temp and fill in your current settings that are failing and we can advise what to change.
