1.The above settings = booted, Prime Blend: system freeze @ 2hrs (noticed DRAM was 1.80V after I re-entered BIOS, did not intentionally test DRAM at 1.80V)
2.DRAM Voltage 2.0V = booted, Prime Blend: system freeze @ < 1min

5.MCH 1.10V and DRAM 1.9V, 2.0V, 2.1V = booted, Prime Blend: system freeze as soon as prime starts (same as old RAM [the one in my signature block])
6.MCH 1.20V and DRAM at 2.1V, 2.0V, 1.9V = post resets/boot issues (same as old RAM)
7.MCH to 0.95 & DRAM at 1.90V = booted, I stopped prime blend after 30min to change DRAM
(Note: MCH of 0.95 has caused cold boot issues with my old RAM, but booted fine this time (once)!!)
8.MCH at 0.95 DRAM to 2.00V = booted (twice now), I stopped prime after 9 Hrs and rebooted (three times…)
9.Turned system off for a few hours, system failed post kept resetting……..

Currently trying slots 2&4…

Any other ideas?

The three reboots of 8 are all cold boots?
The faied boot of 9 is cold but I assume the PSU was still on? Everything in BIOS was set as before when booted?

the 3 boots in tests 7&8 were windows shutdowns and powered up from front panel power switch. Test 9 was the same I just left it a few hours before turning back on.

I had this issue with my old ram. I was testing MCH's at different levels. Passed memtest86+ at MCH 0.95V fine, performed a few shutdowns to test different memory slots and it would reboot no dramas. Powered down that night and would not post/start the next day. go figure....

That was why i performed test 9, had been cuaght out before

DDR-800, Performance Enhance standard and XMP deisabled, at default(auto) voltages, will cause same multi boot problem?

I think all boards that can't run with stock MCH Core and above have some kind of a problem. I wonder what GB would say about this, after all it seems persistant with any memory being used, at least for this board.

All default voltages will boot....

But.... MCH 1.10V will cause random freezes during normal operation and freeze as soon as a prime test starts.

Should i contact gigabyte?

So default will boot, no cold boot problems but freeze, and 0.95-1.05v MCH Core won't freeze but have cold boot issues.

I would have contact them, it is what they are being paid for.
You can still experiment though, I don't think they will be too quick to reply.

MCH Core
0.950V Prime Blend stable.. wont freeze, (but will not post/boot if left off for more than 2 hrs)
1.05V Stable with old RAM at 667, still testing new ram (no boot issues at all) but will freeze above 700MHz (both old and new)
1.10V unstable prime blend freeze as soon as test starts (no boot issues)
1.20V boot/ post reset issues
1.24V boot/ post reset issues

Slots 2 and 4 are failing prime also whilst performing similar tests to before...

........more tesing on slots 2 and 4 at DDR 800 Dual ch. tests fail

Tested ddr 667 dual ch. system stable

emailed giga byte regards MCH core voltage, has anyone have an idea/experience how long a response from them usally takes takes? (hours, days, weeks, months or buy new board...)

Not sure if the support staff work weekends. I'd give them until close of business Tuesday, to give them time to clear the weekend backlog, then chase them up if they don't reply.

I Hope you stated memory frequency/stability problems as well.
You deserve more than 667 IMO, for this you could buy a sub 50 bucks board
