    I highlighted the stability issues of dual channel at 800, I did not state that 667 is stable. Should i modify my support request?

    No, that should be fine. It really should be working at DDR-800 in dual channel so specifying that it doesn't is OK.

    Giga Byte has responded to my support request

    They directed me to the Qualified Vendors List...

    until i have tried one of the ram sets on the list the fault could still be the ram

    it could be, but i doubt it

    Please give me your full settings you try with 1066, and a link to the ram please and I will advise back.

    It very well could be incompatible ram, can you borrow some other memory to test with? Can you test this ram on another board to be sure it is not faulty?

    These settings would not post (a reset cycle). (one time it did post but freeze on the gigabyte logo boot screen)

    1 stick will do the same at 1066.

    (Settings and test results at 800: http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/ep45...tml#post331745) this produce a pass on DDR 800 but a boot up issue...

    Slots 2+4 act the same? Just wondering since you mentioned the slots.

    Did you check your ram voltage in PC Health section to see what is applied when you set what?

    Well continue you tests, then if you want please try these settings for 333 FSB

    OK< before you get into these I made some MCH Ref suggestions. In my signature you will find a link to a small guide I made on setting this. Please read that guide and try a few changes with your above settings as well before you get into trying with 333 FSB. MCH Ref can be the key to stability sometimes and since you already have to lower your MCH this may mean your MCH Ref is getting to be set way wrong as well. MCH Ref and Vtt are connected, so you will need to set your own Vtt. Just check out the guide and if you want try MCH Ref .68-.80 with various Vtt amounts such as 1.20-1.32
