    Well...

    Of course I lost it.

Is this what I'm looking for?

    Digi-Key - RNC10TB1KTR-ND (Manufacturer - RNC 10 TB 1K 0.01% R)

I called Radio Shack and they said they had tons that were 1K but didn't know about 0402 SMD

What! I thought you said you had plenty laying around???

Shoulda checked before going ahead! I hear Hicookie says you will be ok without it, but he never replied back when asked if he was sure, so I dunno about that!

Yes, I believe that is it from the spec's, but without a image not sure?

I found you some on ebay >>
    10000 PC'S RESISTOR 100K OHM 1/16W 1% 0402 SMD - eBay (item 260498393743 end time Nov-04-09 14:51:44 PST)
    CRCW0402100RFKED RES 100 OHM 1/16W 1% 0402 SMD 100+ Pcs - eBay (item 220326095112 end time Nov-02-09 18:33:15 PST)

One says 100ohm but I think it means 1K, not sure

If you are good with soldering then you do not have to use SMD ones, you can use a normal resistor or variable one and do the mod like this >>

Without an image I could not be sure, but I guess it does have the right specs though I think.

Like I said I used one once that I have no clue what it was and I suspect it was not the correct ohm or % but it worked just fine

If you want to be sure since they are cheap grab a 100 1% and 1000 1% and you should be set

I'm currently trying to find a dead mobo around here to grab one off of that... If that fails I'll head to the electrical lab. In fact, I might even be able to get a hold of one in my Physics II lab tomorrow. We've used 1K resistors before.
