    Default Desperate Help Needed.

    I have just sumbled apon this site and I was hoping you would be kind enough to help although it is not about over clocking. I have spent 2days trying to get this working.

    My PC

    Item: Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory Kit CL5 1.8v

    Item: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 770 Socket AM2+ 7.1 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

    Item: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 8MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor

    Item: Asus HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card

    Item: Seagate ST3500418AS 500GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB Cache - OEM

    Item: LG GH22NS50 22x SATA DVD±RW Dual Layer & RAM Black Bare Drive - OEM

    Item: Coolermaster Elite 330 Black Mid Tower Case - No PSU

    Item: Corsair 650W TX Series PSU - 120mm Fan, 80+% Efficiency, Single +12V Rail

    Everything has been fine up until now

    I just bought logitech x-230 speakers and only getting sound from one speaker when I plug them into the back of the pc but i get sound from both when i plug them into the headphone jack at the front of the pc.

    I'm using win7 and think i have all the right settings, balance etc but as I built this PC myself im not sure weather or not i built it correctly

    any help would be great

    Hi and welcome to TTF, a few suggestions I would have for you is to make sure you have the latest drivers for your sound card, unplug the front sprakers from your sound card and try your rear plugs and also make sure the speaker wires are in the correct spots in the rear plugs.

    You should be able to try different speaker jacks on the rear mobo's rear panel.
    Have you checked the speaker configuration settings with the sound manager Audio I/O panel?
