    Default p35 ds4 windows 7 64 bit install problem

Hi, I am trying to install windows 7 64 bit on RAID 0 but even though I have the latest drivers from gigabyte windows is telling me they are non certified. My motherboard is a Ga p35 ds4 rev 1. Any one got around this yet?

You need to connect your 2 RAID Drives to the first two yellow Intel ports (SATA2_0 and 1) then enable RAID In the BIOS with these settings >>

    Integrated Peripherals

    Intel Controller (Yellow Ports)
SATA RAID/AHCI Mode (Intel ICH10R Southbridge) ............. RAID
SATA Port0-3 Native Mode ................................... Enabled (or Disabled, both will work)

Then go into the RAID BIOS (Control + I) and create your array

Windows 7 does not need raid drivers as the Intel/Microsoft ones are already there, but I do advise you install with your own drivers.

You would want to use the ones here direct from Intel
    *64-bit Floppy Configuration Utility

Sounds like maybe you have your drive connected wrong, or are trying to use the Gigabyte controller maybe? Or a really old driver, not sure... But the above info will get you installed without issues

Please do not use any drivers or programs from your install CD, they are all very old. Get what you need online from the source, Intel, RealTek, J.Micron, ect.

Yes same process as mentioned above, but pick the correct 32/64 drivers for your system
