Might be that more MCH is needed but I am not familiar with safe ranges for this board so wait for Lsdmeasap or someone else that knows to comment on it.

I've run Memtest for multiple cycles with the 4x1GB running at DDR800 and its been stable. I'm a little disappointed I can't run at the specified speed although as you say I probably won't notice much difference.

    I appreciate your help!

    Awith what timings?

Check a benchmark I have done recently, maybe you won't be so disapointed.

    5-5-5-18 I believe

edit: I checked and under Auto it ran the above. I've changed it to 4-4-4-12 per your previous suggestion.

And I appreciate the negligable differences between the two settings.

    Thanks!

Try 4-4-4-12/13 to 4-5-5-15 and see if you can get away with it, and the lowest tRD possible, DRAM Voltage 2.0-2.1v.

I can set Performance (tRD) in MemSet40 but I can't find it in teh BIOS. Cntl+F1 didnt' do anything.

Also I get a red flashing warning about voltages not optimized when I move from Auto to Manual and bump RAM +0.2v. To be ignored?

Static tRead Value = tRD or Performance Level in Memset.

You sound like you have the exact same problem I have. Check out my thread. Might save you some troubleshooting time to see what has gone before you, but still didn't work.

I ended up reducing from 1066 to 800 and it's worked fine since. It was not stable with 4x1GB at 1066 even though the board was rated for that - actually 1333 w/OC.

Per Chike I don't think there is a discernable performance hit.

Thanks Chike for all of your help. Much appreciated!

Yes, ignore the warning, it's GB's way of making sure that you know what you're doing.
