They do include updated LAN drivers for Windows 7 here----> GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - Driver - GA-MA790X-UD4P (rev. 1.0) you will want to scroll down Please choose your OS. Download the Realtek Lan drivers make a LAN folder install them. Perform CPSetup after extracted to folder. I just tried Realtek LAN driver and it installed without any problems. I am using Windows7 64bit. I did'nt try 32bit yet though.

I agree, you should try the Beta BIOS, as well as the latest before that, before you RMA the board. Many changes not listed in the public change logs are made, they only note huge fixes or CPU microcode additions, ect. There could be 30 changes and you might only see 1-2 listed.

Do you see the same issues if you use the second PCIE Slot? Just wondering if it shows x1-4 or x8 as it should, I am not clear by the board specifications but if you do not have anything in the first PCIE slot the second one may be able to run at x16 as instead of x8.

Update: I have now a replacement board and everything is as they should be. Thank you very much for everyone's help in this thread. I hope I don't run into this problem again.

I was hoping to get some answer to this issue because I saw others having similar issues in other forums.. For now I've concluded it as faulty hardware but I hope Gigabyte at least provide what those options in "Chipset Configuration" in the BIOS are for.

    Anyhow, thank you again.

Ahh, so it was a faulty board then? If so, sorry to hear, but glad to hear you have resolved the issues!
