It has occurred on vista and XP when I had dual/triple boot. However they've always been on the same HD even when I installed windows 7 on a SSD the bootloader was always been on the 1TB HD which I had since the very start. When my I7 components arrive, I'll do a complete new install of windows 7 on another HD along with a 9500GT instead of the GTX 260 and see if the problem persist. I'm thinking its more hardware related as it sometimes happen on stock settings.

Hmm, well is that saying something to you? I mean the one disk anyway, since you mentioned it.

Give us your settings anyway so we can have a look, if you are using all auto's it could be part of the issue

Try +0.1 on FSB and PCIE, PCIE definatley does not need to be +0.2

And you may need to use 2.66D memory multiplier with this amount of ram at that FSB. Everything else looks like it should be ok, unless you do need more Vcore due to vdrop/vdroop

I'll try the settings when I re-build it.
(I took it apart to use the case for my I7 build which I will create a new thread on over-clocking that - However I've done a bit on that atm)

I'll try a bit more on the Vcore as the temps seem fine under load. What do you mean by "2.66D memory multiplier", if its referring to the 2.4 that I'm using I don't have a setting for '2.66D'

Cheers Edit: Also haven't encountered any crashes so far despite using the same HD and GPU but could be a bit early to decide. If it doesn't crash then its almost going to be mobo or ram maybe PSU.

Do you have 2.66 anything? Might not due to your CPU, so in that case I would say you may need to use 2.00 or 2.50 (Which may not work at that high FSB)

I don't have 2.66 as well. I've tried 2.5 before with the same settings and it still had the problem but I've not tried 2.00 yet. However when I use 2.00 it does the weird boot thing which I'm mentioned before in my old thread. Power button off on PSU = press computer power button (automatically turns off before starting properly) However it doesn't happen on higher memory multiplier. Double boot IIRC.

Well some BIOS changes will always double reboot to apply the settings. May be best for you to stick with 2.00 or try some other memory. Or only use 4GB, this would be best anyway so you keep dual channel

So the double boot is normal even when the computer is fully stable? I'll change to 4GB and 2.00. I wont be able to update since I'm using the GPU on my new build so the new GPU will be here on sat/mon which is when I'll start changing everything again. P.S - Apparently I have 2x9500GT which doesn't work on windows 7 on the newest nvidia driver

Yes, this is normal at high FSB. With only 4GB you may be able to use more than 2.00 multi, I just suggested that with 8GB and to help you try and narrow down the issue. Of course this memory may not be able to run 960Mhz, so you may need to stick with 2.00 anyway.
