I'll try to update my drivers, though when I turn on my computer the motherboard immediately emits that high pitched squealing noise, therefore I suspect its either a hardware issue.

Nah unfortunately the noise is still persisting, even though I updated my drivers, turned off C1E its still there and its quite loud too.

    Did you also disable EIST?

Do you have DES Installed? If so remove it fully and reboot. If it still persists you are going to need to find out the cause by testing with other components. It could be your GFX card, the board, or the PSU making these noises

Yeah I disabled EIST and the sound is still present. And no I don't have DES installed, the sound immediately emits when I turn on the computer.

Everything is old in my computer except for the motherboard, CPU and RAM. When I had my P45 setup I had no squealing noises whatsoever.

I have other sets of RAM so I doubt the RAM is causing the sound. Or maybe its the CPU causing the sound but I don't know.

Ya I doubt it is the ram, I would think only GFX Card, PSU, or motherboard.

You may need to RMA the board if it is that bad, some boards have bad chokes on them

you say its when it starts up, is it the dos speaker sounding off a string of fast beeps? If so i had the exact same problem as you and i have solved it, the newest bios fixed it right away (f2d). Check on the little led display and when the noise starts see what it says. If it says C1 then this should fix the issue.
