Gigabyte warranty is 3 years, and it takes 2-3 weeks for a RMA

EDIT: and what does it mean when it states 1 x PCIe x16, 1 x PCIe x8/x16, 1 x PCIe x8 in the middle it states x8/x16 which one is it 16x or 8x or is it if you have 3 sli it goes down to 8x or can you choose your speed
That middle part means if you use all three the last two will be x8, and it will be automatic.

Sorry I can't advise on which of your choices in boards above would be best as I only use Gigabyte so I don't know.

Have you checked for bent socket pins yet?

Hmm, post some pics if you are unsure. But that does sound like you thought a few were bent, this would cause all the issues presented in this thread.

There are other pins than the bottom right that control memory aspects of the CPU. I have seen left side, right and left bottom, and even middle ones cause this. So it appears many pins can have this effect, not just the ones noted to be for memory directly.
