Ok So cleared the Cmos overnight, no change, still won't load Optimized Defaults

    Tried Bios's F3-F5

I can get it to load optimized defaults with only TM2 Disabled, C1E and EIST are still both enabled.

I suggest you contact GB support, maybe they know something or replace the board.
The board is new or have you been using it for a while and problem developed only after flashing BIOS?

Well this setup is around 6-8months old and i just put it together and just went with it(First build).
Was wanting to learn more about overclocking so was gonna attempt to overclock, so i started off by loading optimized defaults and didn't get past that because of my current problem.
If i do leave TM2 off, load optimized in the MIT where it's running at 3GHz, I actually get less FPS in games.

I am confused on how you worded your reply above in post #11

You load optimized defaults after you flash or clear CMOS, then change settings. You do not change settings before this, and if you are and it is causing issues then you can easily set whatever causes the problem to a value that does not and then load optimized and go from there.

Just sounded confusing because I am not sure what you are trying to do, as you would adjust settings afterward not before.

If you want to overclock load and apply optimized and then reboot back to the BIOS Then make your changes after you disable C1E and EIST. FPS you notice may be due to settings not being optimized

    Here's exactly what i did.

    Cleared Cmos over night
    Boot up to bios
    Load Optimized Defaults(Says 3ghz 9x333mhz)
    Reboot
    Bios
    Says 2ghz(6x333mhz)
    ..

So then i turned off TM2
    Reboot
    Bios
Load Optimized Defaults in M.I.T only
    Reboot
    Says 3Ghz
But has Less FPS in games.

Since it's bad to have TM2 off
    I've Cleared cmos
    Turn TM2 back on
and back to the Bios saying 2ghz

Ahh ok, well that is a bug due to your first section for sure.

About the FPS, you need to adjust things is all. If you are not setting voltages then that could be why, you need to set your own Vcore, Vtt, IOH, and ram voltages. Once these are tweaked to the proper amounts your FPS will be better than when using 2.66 for sure

Please report this here if you have not already, and link to this thread >>

I will also try to remember to have my contact see if one of the engineers can look into this issue for you later this week and get you a new beta BIOS hopefully.

In the meantime please flash your BIOS back to the one you was using before that worked. I think you said you tried that right? If so please flash it again but this time do it from DOS using FlashSPI and use these switches after the flash command as shown in the below example >>

    flashspi biosfilename.fxx /c /d /e /r

The original bios (F2) did not work either. I have sent a query on that link before, waiting on a reply then will link them here.

The only way i can tweaks things and it being saved is having TM2 off. So i'll just leave it on and wait for a response from gigabyte or a solution from these forums.

Well really man, if you are not pushing your CPU to any extreme such as 550+ FSB, you will be just fine with TM2 Disabled.

Don't worry about it really as you would only need it if your CPU hits 100C and even then the chip itself with or without this will throttle down

ahh well that good to know
the problem is i'm not sure of the correct settings to run as this is really my first time at OC'in.

If you could set me up with a basic setting for a mild OC i would love to try it.

Ya, you will be fine for sure! I disable this myself and run 5Ghz so you will be plenty fine!

Try this for 3.6, I had a 9700 and I think your 9500 can keep up with temps at 3.6 (Maybe more but try this out first). Use latest BIOS and load optimized first of course.

Hey why 3GB? That breaks dual channel up
