Also try to set tRFC 52 manually for DDR-800 and make sure Static tRead Value is set the same for both channels, Driving Strength 800 or auto.
Try tRFC 48-56 if 52 does not work.
    DRAM Voltage 1.9-2.1v.

Ya a 2x2GB Kit would be best, and you would be all setup and running smoothly now.

    Hi,

    Chike,
i will try theses new parameters in 800 Mhz mode and tell you back

I agree, now, that mixing sticks from different brand is not easy or sometimes impossible (i thought it was possible before) but what is the method, if exist, to make them works (for example, set them in low frequency) ?

    Thanks

    Lsdmeasap,
If so, what kind of sticks would you advise me (with good value for money) ?
    Regards

Yes, sometimes lower freq help or more voltage. But sometimes they just will not work together at all, which is what is happening here it looks like.

I advise a 2x2GB set, of a good brand name you like, with timings 555-15 for 1066Mhz or 444-12 for 800Mhz

Many thanks to both of you

I will try a last test in 800 mhz with parameters suggested and by soon a 2x2 Go in Dual channel.

By the way, is the Gigabyte Memory Support list (
    http://www.gigabyte.fr/FileList/Memo...-ep45-ds3l.pdf) detailed enough ?

In the DDR2 1066 section, there is no 2Go Corsair sticks mentionned for example (only KingMax and Apacer)

Well they only can test so many modules, so not all brands get tested of course. If you know what model you want to buy you can search for that model here in the forum and see if other users have had issues with them or not.

Once you pick a set, I can look around for you if you are unsure

Can you please post links? I think those are both fine though anyway

Ahh, well see. That says "Guaranteed" Compatible so you are fine with those, that means they have directly tested that set themselves.
