    Default ud3p not booting

I had the system (ga-ep45-ud3p) working for about 2 months and 2 days ago it shutdown while I was browsing. The computer wont start again. I tried to remove all pci and tried with 1 stick of ram. No luck.

I bought a new power supply - mod ocz 500 and its the same issue.

If I dont connect cpu power, it lights up the phase leds etc. but without them it doesnt lightup the led even.

Any pointers to try to get the system back up. I need it asap and for next 2 weeks - have a few interviews setup.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes I tried clearing cmos - with no luck.

I dont think cpu is an issue and there is nothing else other than ram.

Anybody know what the phase LED or the cpu fan not running may mean ?

doesnt it run with power going to it? the cpu? fan doesnt spin?? check cpu heatsinks on propperly and check for bent pins...do this carefully and dont damage any cpu pins as you look

Do you know what BIOS you are using? Do you get a screen at all, or just blank?

Phase LED's just mean power is going through the board, this is normal when it is on. CPU Fan not spinning could mean several things, no offense meant but you do have the 8 Pin ATX 12V CPU cable and the 24 Pin ATX Cable connected right? Just checking.

What CPU cooler are you using? Yes as said above please reinstall the CPU and cooler, checking the socket pins while you do so.

Do you have other ram or GFX Cards to test with? They can be old cards or PCI don't matter, and any DDR2?

Have you had the board out of the case and off the motherboard tray and tried starting it this way yet? If not please do this while you are checking the CPU socket out.
