Buy a new PSU ASAP. I'd not use the system until you do. Cutting out burned wires does not sound good at all! You could be risking another small fire or worse.

To help avoid the inconvenience of having to swap in a new HDD if you get a failure you can install an extra drive and use Matrix Storage Manager to assign it as a "Spare". If a drive fails you can set the IMSM to automatically start re-building the array. This is useful if you run the machine unattended for any length of time. Definitely don't leave it unattended with that dangerous PSU in it though.

thanks for the warning. and yes I'm not leaving my system unattended anymore :) but it seems to be working :/ by the way I tested both of my hdds and they are ok! I didn't get why one of them seemed to be faulty when in the raid array??
