Cpu at 1250rpm 120mm ---> probably around 38cfm? purposely set for headroom + save time testing. Fan normally 1500rpm 24/7. Cpu temps are around 1-3 c higher than normal.

    My max cpu

    My max fsb

My current overclock <---- very happy with the results so far. Thank you everyone and especially Lsdmeasap, Psycho101, giganate, natrex. You saved me alot of time. What makes this forum amazing is people like you. I'm looking to do a final prime95 64-bit 24hr run on vistax64/win7 soon. Will keep you guys updated

FB vs FC,FD,FDA <----AHCI isrc 1.20E. FB still have old raid rom. Its like 8 seconds completion time vs 2 seconds for the new one. Only noticeable if you reboot/cold start.

FD/FC/ and maybe fda <---its been since august since last use. Has quickboot. idk much.

p45 ud3p 1.6 fb stable but fd fails or is it just my ocz incompatibility?!? This guy has problems uniquely similar to mine. I'm starting to think this ocz brand is just not that great. JR P45 driving me crazy!

If you have the cash I would say try another brand maybe if you continue to have issues.

Looks like you have speedstep enabled though still, did you know that?

Thanks giganate, i wont know for sure. knock on wood, lol, but prime95 25.11build2 blend 64-bit on vista x64 is still running green. realtemp shows a max of 56C on both cores. Ive had prime95 crash once at 17hrs, it was really funny. i mean come on they need prime9500.

omg, fail after 17hrs ??!!?? maybe a glitch? and you did a stress test 17hrs again?

To put it i had no idea. glitch yes. I did stress test again but couldn't replicate it. and made multiple changes so i can't really pinpoint. I didn't look back after that. at least one final test for 24hrs is goal.

I had to make a change though cuz it annoyed me much , I got a spare 160gb sata drive that i use as a test drive. Clean format, latest utilities (everest, realtemp, prime95, gigabyte easytune, cpu-z, latest drivers <---important ones like vga, lan, audio, p45 chipset, intel ich9/ich10 storage drivers. no antivirus.

I also now push overclocks, to save time on doing long tests, to my maximum safe voltage/temperatures <---usually warmer than normal temps. If it's good for 1-3 hrs then I drop the frequency of fsb/ processor ghz by a bit and go for a 24hr run. You can find the max recommended voltages on intel e8400/p45 datasheet. e8400 E0 1.3625V, cpu pll 1.575, cpu vtt (cpu termination) 1.26. The southbridge, ich10r, max ich core 1.155v and ich i/o 1.575

Sucess!! I did the test a bit too long i think, it was supposed to be just for 24hrs. Here's the long waited results. 40 hrs+ stable. 64 bit prime95 blend on windows vista x64.
