    Aquax - THANK YOU FOR GOING THE EXTRA MILE !!!! I'll give it a shot and see what happens. Again, thanks !!!

    In the meantime take a look at this review of the new Corsair H70. The guy who did the review on it is actually using the same Silverstone FT02 tower I have. He made a foolish comment about how the Fan/Rad/Fan looked like "ass" (because it was now in the way of the window of tower), so he set it up a bit different so you can see a bit more into the window of the unit. In my opinion it doesn't make a difference, as you'll see when we do my full review of our tower... Actually I think it makes it look nicer and adds to it's internal appearance as a displayed item (hence the reason why you have the window to begin with). But that's just my opinion. I did laugh though when he made that "looks like ass" comment. I thought that was funny...

    Hey Aquax & Lsdmeasap:

    Thanks for the input but when I followed your input (Aquax) my ram dropped to 1066 from 1560. I want to get to the max 1600MHz that I (actually need) because I'm rendering vids and need the RAM to do it's thing. Lowering the MHz on it only slows down that rendering process. Putting it back to "Profile1" brought it up to it's max of 1600MHz, but the system shut down, so I just put it back (for now) to my current set up so it's running at 4.09GHz for right now. Right now I'm installing the Indigo Xtreme, so this is going to be an all day process as I'm videoing the install as well...

    BTW, Lsdmeasap, thanks for the input on the Uncore thing. I'll try it later and see what happens... Thanks to both of you for your help...

    Lastly, although this is the "official" thread for the UD7 , it hasn't seen any activity for a whole month anyway. At least now, it is... I guess that's a good thing, and we're still talking about the UD7 anyway...

    If you follow the same settings I put, your ram will run @ 1600MHz and CPU @ 4.20GHz

    Hey Guys, Just wanted to say THANKS for the help. I didn't try out your settings yet Aquax (maybe I DID miss something). I will try it out later. I'll tell you what I did do, I actually installed the Indigo Xtreme (thermal interface kit). I thought it was only going to shave off 2 to 3C. Well... I actually shaved off 6.08C !!!!!

    I can't believe I shaved off that much by using that thermal heat exchange pad. I was simply floored !!!!! I can't wait to post this video review on that product. Now although our whole main focus is on home security and personal protection products, I'm really looking forward to posting this review. Now there are couple of guys out there that have posted their own review of this product but I actually have actual proof with the snap shots that I took before and after using RealTemp as the temperature gauge with using Arctic Silver 5 and then using the NEW Indigo Xtreme.

    Here is the other major breakthrough that I've been waiting for for the last month, I finally did what you had mentioned Aquax (like I did in the past on my own), I actually typed in 200 in the BIOS and started up my Mak Hac Pro. So far everything is running great. I just hope it stays that way. The RAM is running at full capacity at 1600 MHz and the CPU is at its full 4.2 GHz !!!!! This was a very long day in the installation process of this thermal heat exchange pad; mainly because of the prepping that I had to do in order to get everything installed properly. There was a lot of disconnecting and reconnecting and more disconnecting and more reconnecting and then installing, then reconnecting, restarting, reprogramming, restarting again, etc., etc., etc... I was definitely scared as I've never done anything like this before. Heck, I never even put a PC together before so this whole thing has been a completely new experience anyway; scary, but exciting! And I'm really fired up with the results!

    But I will try out your setup Aquax. Hopefully by Monday or Tuesday of next week I will be able to post the video review for all of you to watch it. Again thanks for all the help and I hope everything stays stable with this system. By the way Aquax, I will be getting in touch with you tomorrow once I try out your BIOS setup, as I noticed a couple of things that I did not write down that were not on the list of changes that you wanted me to adjust, but what I'll do is write them down and then post it here so you can help me out with some of the tweaking of how you have things set up.     I just tried your BIOS setup, to no avail. What happened when I started up the system under MacOS X was a bunch of garbled text that showed itself in front of the Apple logo and spinning wheel (that you see when the OS system starts up). Unfortunately it's telling me that it's not working at least for MacOS X. Now it might work for Windows 7, XP and Vista, but it ain't working for anything else. Now I did notice something else too, the BIOS setup that you sent me, and a different set up for the channel A. advanced timing control section. Here is how yours looked from what you sent me:

    When you have a moment if you could reply to this post that would be great. Again, any information that you can contribute would be great. So far everything is running nice and easy ride around 42C at 4.2 GHz. Even today, when I brought it back down to the 4.09 GHz level I was reaching ride around 40C, far better than the 45 to 46C at 4.09 GHz. So for that I'm grateful. Now there's a way to bring down the Celsius a notch or two if there is a way to bring down the voltage or something else please let me know. Mind you, my current group temperature in my office is 80F. That's the reason why even with the new installation of the Indigo Xtreme, it's still running at around 42C. And that's on idle. When I'm on Windows 7 though, it's about one or 2C lower. Maybe it's because of how the OS system works. Again I look forward to your reply and anybody else's back and contribute their thoughts...

    All in all so grateful that everything works the way it does, and I'm looking forward to the winter months ahead when things will cool down a few degrees Celsius at least 5 to 6 months out of the year.
