See here if you do not have a PSU tester, this is what I meant. It will simply allow you to do a simple test to see if the PSU is even functioning or not

The enermax is now on other systems and working, do i need to test it? i can test it later.
i've talked to the enermax representative, and they don't know about this and suggest me to make a thread at enermax forum.
abangcupi said that his enermax revo 1250 working fine with UD7

Well if it is working on another system no need to jump start it then, since it is running you know it works :)

Could have just been a fluke? Have you tried it again since on your UD7? If not, try it out and if it fails to start let Enermax know and also send in a report to Gibayte as that would clearly show there is some incompatibility somewhere between that model and the UD7 or did you mean you and abangcupi have the same model?

people that use 1250W and 950W don't have the problem.

Ya, sounds like something in the 1050 is causing a compatibility issue. I would suggest your report your testing and the reports here to both companies as a FYI.

Enermax of course will tell you this is not possible, or not a problem until more people report it though, but at least you will be letting them know. Same thing happened with a PSU for X58, don't remember which but they denied it for a long time until finally admitting it and revising the PSU.

    Thanks for your reply,
Yeh I see that about the 1050 my spec is

    MB..GIG.X58-UD7
CPU.. Intel i7 975 with std intel fan,
RAM.. 3x2g kingston (another 3x2 to put in when sys stable)
    PSU.. Thermaltake 750w Qfan W0203
    Video cd... Gig. HD5750
    HD's.. 1x250 Corsair SSD..1x1.5TB Seagate..1x500g Seagate
    DVD Burner..DRW-2014LIT
    Card Reader.. Std front panel
    Case..Thermaltake Soprano Fx

I have much the same spec in another comp. using GIG-X38T-DQ6..CPU.QX9650..Therm.650w psu.. same case.. same hd,s ..4x1g ram..Vid. Cd. Nvidia 8600..same burner..same cd reader....very stable..Temp..idles approx high 30,s peaks mid 50,s
I am thinking that the trouble might be the std Intel fan (seems smaller than the other RIG) and have ordered a Zalman CNPS9700 with adapter
PSU should be big enough on that spec...buttttt! any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    ronpeck

    So anyone else using a Noctua NH-U12P on a 920, with a UD7?

Im interested in temps, as my chip seems to run really hot for the cooler that is on it, curretnly @ 3.8ghz (19x200) with 1.25v on the cpu core.

I have a differential of 9 deg between core 1 and core 4, this seems excessive, anyone have any suggestions?

Im thinking a Heatsink re-seat maybe in order.

if you can get your vcore to run lower with your D0 at 3.8 stable, you should get better temps and the die temp difference shouldnt be so bad. :)
