    Try these for 4Ghz, you will of course need to find what your CPU Needs for Vcore and QPI/Vtt, but should be in the ranges I provide. I suggest starting high then lower later

    Be sure you are using the latest BIOS.

    Here is a guide if you are unsure of how to safely flash
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/bios...h-guide-27576/

    BSOD Error codes and what they mean:
    0X00000050 << Incorrect Memory Timing/Freq or Uncore Multi
    0X00000124 << Incorrect QPI/Vtt Voltage (To Much/Not Enough)
    0X00000101 << Not enough Vcore Voltage

    CPU = Model #
    Motherboard = Model, Revision #
    BIOS Version =
    Ram = Brand, Model#, Part#, And or Link

    Code:
    Advanced CPU Features:
    CPU Clock Ratio ................................ [20x]
    Intel(R) Turbo Boost Tech .................. [Enabled]
    CPU Cores Enabled ............................ [All]
    CPU Multi Threading .......................... [Enabled]
    CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E) ................... [Disabled]

    CPU EIST Function ............................ [Disabled]
    Virtualization Technology ................... [Enabled] << Disabled if you do not use Vmware or Virtual PC Programs
    Bi-Directional PROCHOT ..................... [Enabled]

    Uncore & QPI Features:
    QPI Link Speed .............................. x36
    Uncore Frequency .......................... (Always 2x memory Multi or 2x +1, 2x +2, ect - Higher means more Vdimm often) << Try x18 as I find it to work best, X16 would be the norm
    Isonchronous Frequency ..................[Enabled]

    Standard Clock Control:
    Base Clock (BCLK) Control ................ [Enabled]
    BCLK Frequency (MHz) ..................... 190  (190x21=3999Ghz)
    PCI Express Frequency (MHz) ........... [100]

    tRAS .......................................20

    Below values may be left in Auto if you like, generally this is fine. For those users who DO Set advanced timings manually, please see some of my thoughts and findings about these settings and rules here

    Post the full settings you tried that failed and froze on that screen for you, then others or myself will be able to advise further changes for you.

    Normall you need more Vcore when this happens, but it could be a few other things as well

    You'd be better off using the template Lsd has posted for you. Those photos are huge. I have a 10Mbit connection and each one still takes about 10 seconds to load. If everything you have set is in a profile in text format it's easier to read than looking at pictures.
