    Did you try reseating your CPU? If not try this before your RMA as this can often fix this as well

    will do...thank you all for your attention to this thread and keep up the awsome job you guys are doing.

    I got to wait till i have time since this giant heatsink isn't something i can take out without pulling everything out.

    Gigabyte's official response...and just FYI so you guys can cross reference.

    Dear customer,
    Did system works ok by reset bios to load fail-safe defaults and load optimized defaults to run cpu at it's default speed ? please try, could be one of the component onboard was not stable any more that will cause system not stable when overclocked, once bios detected unstable component found bios will reject overclock setting back to defaults.
