    choose HDD

Ah nice, thanks very much Psycho

Relative stability then, rather than a constant :)

So how are things going now?

Ya, be careful of your Clear CMOS button this will erase any saved profiles most always. Not always though, but do keep backup profiles if you need them. You can also anytime you want use @BIOS to backup your whole BIOS, profiles and all. Then anytime you want you can flash with that BIOS with included profiles should anything go wrong.

@BIOS will look into that lsd, sounds good - many thanks!

Just please DO NOT use @BIOS to update with, only to save BIOS to your hard drive for later use

Thanks lsd yes I spotted your very clear warning in here about that very early on. Look into using @BIOS to save BIOS settings and profiles is what I meant, sorry for probably giving you a heart attack! And me too when it all went belly-up after trying a @BIOS flash :)

Although I have to admit that I did use the online BIOS update function with an Asus board once. It worked fine but I must have been crackers :)

I was not worried about you so much, as everyone else reading this now or later. Anytime I mention @BIOS I must say that, so no one later on kills their board with it and then thinks it was ok/suggested by me to use.

I have used it myself for flashing and testing of various things, but it is only ever suggested as a last resort in my book, which should never come up with the many ways you can flash otherwise
