Ok so I just went into the bios and set my memory volatge to 'Auto' and the pc boots fine, no probs at all

    and CPU-Z confirms that my ram is running @ 5-5-5-15 / 533Mhz freq @ 2.1v

The Corsair's SPD probably has an EPP rpofile that also sets the voltage correctly.

    @edgong
please post MemSet SPD(click spd) or CPU-Z SPD tab screen capture.

Thanks Darkcyd. I wanted to order the Corsair that you are using. However, the review from Newegg is not that great on that memory. I am getting a set of G.Skill see if they have better luck than these Patriot Vipers.

Mike, what do you mean Corsair's SPD EPP rprofile?

Yeah thats right, it has an EPP #1 profile for 533 @ 2.1.

    It runs fast and stable

I posted in my thread but here's the set up which I wrote it down. Not sure how you capture that in BIOS:

    Ok, here's MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T)

    Robust Graphics Booster [Auto]
    CPU Clock Ratio [8x]
    Fine CPU clock Rato [+0.0]
    CPU Frequency 3.2Ghz (400 x 8)
    ***** Clock CHIP control *****
    CPU Host Clock Control [Disabled]
    x CPU Host Frequency 400
    PCI Express Frequency(Mhz) [Auto]
    C.I.A.2 [Disable]
    > Advanced Clock Control
    CPU Clock Drive [800mV]
    PCI Express clock Drive [800mV]
    CPU Clock Skew [0 ps]
    MCH Clock skew [0 ps]

    ***** DRAM Performance Control *****

    Performance Enhance [Turbo]
    Extreme Memory Profile(X.M.P) [Auto]
    System Memory Multiplier(SPD) [2.00 D]
    Memory Frequency(Mhz) 1066 800
    DRAM Timing Selectable(SPD) [Auto]

    ***** Standard Timing Control *****

x CAS Latency Time 5 Auto

What memory is this for, that you need help with? Either way I see several things that can be causing you issues.

These settings should work for just about any 2x2GB

    Robust Graphics Booster [Auto]
    CPU Clock Ratio [8x]
    Fine CPU clock Rato [+0.0]
    CPU Frequency 3.2Ghz (400 x 8)
    ***** Clock CHIP control *****
    CPU Host Clock Control [Disabled]
    x CPU Host Frequency 400
    PCI Express Frequency(Mhz) [Auto] << Set 100
    C.I.A.2 [Disable]
    > Advanced Clock Control
    CPU Clock Drive [800mV]
    PCI Express clock Drive [800mV]
    CPU Clock Skew [0 ps]
    MCH Clock skew [0 ps]

    ***** DRAM Performance Control *****

    Performance Enhance [Turbo] << Standard
Extreme Memory Profile(X.M.P) [Auto] << Disabled
    System Memory Multiplier(SPD) [2.00 D]
    Memory Frequency(Mhz) 1066 800
DRAM Timing Selectable(SPD) [Auto] << Manual

    ***** Standard Timing Control *****

    x CAS Latency Time 4/5
    tRCD 4/5
    tRP 4/5
    tRAS 12/15/18

^^ Set what you see on your ram sticker for 800Mhz ^^

    > Advanced Timing Control [ Press Enter ]
    x tRRD 3-4
    x tWTR 3-6
    x tWR 4-6
    x tRFC 52-62
    x tRTP 3-5
    x Command Rate(CMD) 0 Auto << Set 2

    Driving Strength Profiles
Driving Strength ............................800/1066 (Test both) Normally one above ram speed is best

    Channel A & B
Static tRead Value.........................:6/7-10 333/B MCH - 8/9-12 400/D MCH (use 9 for now, you can try lower later. Set both channels manually to the same value

***** Mother Board Voltage Control *****

DO NOT USE AUTO VOLTAGES WITH AN OVERCLOCK - Sorry for the bold caps:)

CPU Vcore 1.28750v [Auto] << 400 FSB means you MUST Set this yourself, try 1.28-1.42
    CPU Termination 1.200v [Auto] << Set 1.225-1.3
    CPU Reference 0.805v [Auto]

MCH Core 1.100v [Auto] << Set 1.2-1.24 (This is the normal for 4GB) Some boards may need less than stock though, this is not normal (Some need 1.0-1.1)
    ICH I/O 1.550v [Auto]

    DRAM Voltage 1.800v [2.00v] << Set 2 or 2.1
