From the board to the Digital 5700, it works fine in XP but can't get speakers setup right in Win 7.

Sorry, I am not a sound guru so I had to ask, and now have to again... What is 5700?

I see you have it working in XP though, so maybe it is just a driver issue. Have you tried the latest driver direct from Realtek? If not here is the latest, please try it and see if it helps >>

Creative Labs 5700 Inspire 5.1 Digital Computer Speakers (6-Speaker, Black) It is my sound system that uses a toss link digital optical from the sound source, or through a regular cable. Is it possible when I loaded the drivers I had my Mic and headphones plugged in and now only sees 2 speakers.
