    sapphire hd4870 512mb

from cpuz i understand that my ram is not running at the speed i desire (rated). could someone plz suggest custom timings or other options to achieve rated speed for this ram.

There is no way the ram wil run at 1600 at stock bus freqyency.
With highest memory multiplier of 4 400MHz FSB is needed to run it at 1600.
You may be able to set lower timings like 6-6-6-18/16.

    You will need to either:

run the RAM at DDR3 1066 to have a FSB:DRAM ratio of 1:1

    OR

Overclock your cpu by increasing the FSB to 333 to run DDR3 1333.

    OR

Overclock your cpu by increasing the FSB to 400 to run DDR3 1600.

Note, running at 400 fsb will overclock your CPU by quite a bit, if u dont want such a high overclock, u can reduce the multiplier to w/e speed u want ur cpu to be at

    Core I5 @ 3.2GHZ
    2x2GB G.skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600
