Update: ASUS just released a new BIOS version for the motherboard: 0604.

Guess what..... It still doesn't work!

Downgraded by whom? I have searched for weeks and I can't find any newer MPTBIOS or firmware versions for the 1068E.

Hi, glad i'm not the only person with such a problem, i was using onboard raid controller and have the GTS250 graphics card, had problems as soon as i activated the raid configuration in bios, i at first was able to install windows but started having the screen go blank, a few days later and it was just getting worse and worse, the screen would go blank with no signal message but the computer was still working!
so i decided to reconfigure my hard drives back to IDE and re-install windows but even this wasn't going to plan as now both drives were inaccessable when installing windows 7 64-bit.

To resolve the problem I had to disconnect a hard-drive and then install windows XP 32-bit which would be able to access and format the hard drive and install XP with no problems and then i've been able to re-install windows 7 64-bit to that drive, but as of yet my other drive won't work if connected so i will prob have to go through the same again with the other drive.
I've decided for now not to use raid configuration with GTS250 installed as for some reason it just screws everything up!!

    Computer:
    AMD quad-core phenom X4 9650,
    6Gb Ram,
    GTS 250,
Asus MA770-UD3 motherboard with bios up-to-date

Also I have had problems trying to run a solid-state drive in just IDE!
