Default gigabyte drivers -vs- intel, jmicron, realtek

I just bought my first Gigabyte motherboard. I was wondering what peoples opinions were of the Gigabyte version of drivers?

Is it better to use Intel/JMicron/Realtek drivers or Gigabytes?

I haven't been able to find NEC or Marvell drivers other than Gigabytes.

    Depends on the driver signature.

If one is newer than the other, use that. I typically get all of my stuff from this thread.

The reason I asked is that I looked at the JMicron driver and the GSata driver and they use different settings in their ini files.

I was considering copying the Gigabyte ini file into the new (from JMicron) set of drivers.

Does Realtek release the equivalent of the "Realtek Ethernet Diagnostic Utility" on Gigabytes web site? I couldn't find it.
