    Default Weird Problem

    Hi folks,

I have a rather nice overclock with my i5.

    It's clocked @ 3.78 (180*21) with 1.28v vcore

However, my computer doesn't seems to like to run my 8G of OCZ DDR3 Gold 1600 at all.

I set my Mem multiplier to x8 and anything < 1.35Vtt and anything > 1.5VDimm my computer is not going to be Prime Blend stable.

I'm wondering if it's safe enough to run vtt @ 1.35?

    My Spec:

    i5 @ 3.78 vcore:1.28v, vtt:1.35v, PCH: 1.12, PLL: 1.80
    8G OCZ DDR3 Gold 1600 running 1440, 1.54v
    Gigabyte P55M-UD2 Rev 1.0, BIOS: F6
    Antec EarthWatt 500

is your ram rated at 1.54v?or 1.65? i use 1.64v in bios for my ram,but p55 boards might be different...set your uncore as 2xmem multi then add 1 so if 8 it will be 17,that may help as its better than auto, you might need more qpi voltage with 8gb

I up it to 1.35 vtt and p95 blend still get error after 30mins.

I have the OCZ3G1600LV4GK, it's rated for 1.65v but if I up my VDimm to 1.64 or 1.66 I'll get error before I can blink my eyes in p95.

Right now I'm trying to use just 4G and I'm running OCCT:CPU for 45min and I'll see what's gonna happen.

OK, so I passed OCCT large data set with 4G last night, then I put the rest of the 4G back in and set the vtt to 1.23 and ran Prime Blend overnight. After 4 hours 1 core gets an error.

Seems like I need to have my vtt to at least 1.25 for it to be stable. But is it safe?
