    just a Q.

    what should the
<acronym title="collectively refers to all the elements in the processor die that are not computing engines such as the memory controller and level 3 cache. ">Uncore</acronym> Frequency be set to with 6GB of Ram?

it reads in light blue, 3200 is that right? or should i up it to 3600Mhz

right now i got it on auto. and i think x20 = 3200 to.

im not sure about this, as i dont understand why my memory will not run even if i use manual settings?

    SPD [x12]
    1066 - 1600

    shouldnt it be
    SPD [x12]
    1600 - 1600?

because the only time i get that is if i use XMP?

    everything else is ok.

drop the CPU Vcore & QPI a little to see if i dont need it @ 1.2 & 1.315 and passed prime95 2hrs.

just my memory will only recognize 1600 - 1600 on XMP?
    sny idea?

it will run if you set it manually, one number will show the default speed 1066 thats what the bios sets it at,and next to it will be the current speed that youve set it too 1600mhz

ahh i see. lol thanks for clearing that up. was trying to work it out.

owell seems i cant set it to 1333 only 1280 now since ive done the OC?

    and, whats the difference

    9-9-9-24-1
    and
    9-9-9-24-2

ram just dont run at 8-8-8-24-1 no matter if its on 1066,1333,1600. will just crash.

also are these the times i can run the memory at?

command rate 1T is faster than 2T,whats it rated at? 8-8-8-24? did you set system performance enhance to standard?? if it keeps crashing you just might need more qpi voltage did you set ram v at 1.66? and set uncore to twice what the mem multiplier is

+1 on qpi, I think bsod 00124 not enough of too much qpi. I saw that on one of LSD's post. I got 4.26 with only 1.28 qpi.

Uncore multiplier should simply be set to minimum 2x of the system memory multiplier. Some users reports better overclocking potensial when they use 2x+1 or even 2x+2. Also, I see that you have alot of the voltages on auto, I would stay away from auto if i was overclocking, to avoid frying your board. The board will increase voltages by alot when you overclock and voltages are set to auto

lol im kinda new to this, so x2 dont mean anything to me. im not been mean or anything like a ass.
i think you mean that i should set the uncore to 2x the memory.
    = Uncore Freq x20 + 1 = x21 right? or am i wrong.

as for volts i havent had any probs sofar with what its set at. also im not doing a major OC just a lil. most of the time 24/7 the computer is idle. and maybe twice a week i will use video Rendering /editing software. whic might use all cores to say 80%.

just think im right about the uncore, but its best to check with you guys first.
