    I think he means it should be 2x the memory multiplier. Or 2x +1 of the memory multiplier. i haven't read all the threads but I believe that is what is meant.

    yea i read that, its just im not sure in the bios or what that really means. im sorry for been such a idiot about it.

    if somene could point me in the right place or tell me what it is in bios i would be greatful.

    memory multiplier x2 + 1 ?

    i have 6GB of Ram and not sure what im looking for to see if its right.

    its the uncore freq thats 2x+1 mem multi,what are you clocked at now?and are you stable?what are your temps like??

    yea i thought it was the uncore.

    well im clock at 3360 or somthing with turbo.

    160 x20

    uncore is on x20 = 3200Mhz? is that right.

    prime95 8hrs gave me max temp of 59c..

    20x is right if your mem multi was 10,21x uncore you could use aswell,whatever is best for you....1.2000 cpu v? for 3.4ghz have you tried to lower it? i use 1.18750 for 3.8ghz

    yea im stable now. and all is good.

    idle temps 29/30c
    max load in prime 59c

    so ill keep lowering it till it crashes right. then ill know my low volts.

    im on 1.268 somthing now. so ill lower it to 1.9 and test tonight.

    ok on 1.2000v and ran prime for a bit. all good!

    still unsre about upping the uncore more? is there a limit?

    Glad you got man. If you ever get an itch, at 1.2vcore, with a couple of tweaks, you are right at 4.0ghz. I know that is not important to everybody. I have been exploring the same board and chip this month and I was amazed at the high clocks and low vcore.

    yea i see alot of 4Ghz OC on this setup. im happy with what ive got and Temps look good no? idle 29/31 2hrs or 8hrs prime 56c max.

    only one problem id just like to clear up and im happy.

    lol the uncore.

    is there max i shouldnt go over? because right now its

    x20 = 3200Mhz.

    is x21 ok? 3360 mhz i think it is..

    There is no maximum uncore afaik, but you might need a bunch of qpi volt to be able to reach very high uncore speeds (4ghz area)
