    hey im so sorry about not posting back sooner, ive been worknig so much i havent had any time to mess with the puter.. im hopeing to try these settings out tomorrow. thanks for the help conners..

    ok i set my settingsto the above as Conners posted. it fired up fine but wouldnt pass IBT even on min ram useage. so i made acouple adjustments to the MCH from 1.22 up to 1.26v and the CPU Ref to .835

    it passed the lowest stress test but rebooted on half mem stress gonna bump mch up 1 notch now

    With 2GB of memory you should be able to use much less MCH voltage, more is definitely not needed and can be what is causing your issues.

    really?? now ive taken the MCH up to 1.30v just now and im running IBT when i took it up to 1.28v it locked up on me in about the 4th test of half mem stress.. if it does the same thing i will go the other way with the MCH.
    just now it passed lowest mem used. testing half mem now

    ok it finished all 5 test at half stress but only passed 4 out of 5. i will go and take it back to 1.20v and try. i have had a few people say to even run it at 1.10v to get it right. i think it might have even been conners telling me that..

    i guess i should install ET6 for these fine tweaks.. kinda a pain to reboot and go into bios each time...lol

    well i took it down to 1.20v and it only passed 2 out of 5 test at lowest mem stressed. i did install ET6 i will be going to mess with that this time around. upon restarting i did set the MCH to stock 1.10v it has fired up ok getting ready to test now.

    edit:well it passed 3 out of 5 this time at lowest mem stressed so i took the mch down to 1.050v. it dont like that rebooted instantly. so instead of 2.00D strap i got it on 2.00B ive found it to run better there??? and in have the mch set at 1.20v now... begining tests again

    @2.00B it passed all 5 test but at half mem stressed it locked up.. going to take the mch back up to 1.24v and try it there. if no luck back to 3.83ghz until later..

    Most often with only 2GB of ram stock is fine, that's why I said you were using too much. Of course with an overclock, and depending on ram timings, you will need more than stock. So I think 1.16-1.2 may be plenty, of course you may need more and also could get away with less, but I think your use of 1.25+ is hindering things as normally only people with 8GB of memory need that much

    Some memory does better on B strap, it all depends on the ram, voltages and timings used, and FSB. Keep at it, you will find the sweet spot
