wouldn't that make the QPI link speed much higher than it should be?
    like 7560mhz and not 6480mhz?

sorry ive just gone in bios,i need to look at it to work the setting out, for 1600mhz of ram speed its 200x19 (200 bclk x 19 multiplier) then its 8x ram multiplier to give you 1600mhz of ram....then set uncore freq to 17

yes,you might need to set qpi voltage to 1.34000 with a 19xcpu multi

Then maybe I should just leave it the way it is,
I don't like playing with voltages...

youll be fine with 1.34qpi voltage, thats the only voltage you should need to increase, have you tried with 21x180 blck and normal cpu voltage,1.3 qpi v and 1.66 ram v....and set ram at 1440mhz??? im using those settings now and stable....i cant see any difference from 1800mhz to 1440mhz speed

Yeah I'm using them now actually, its pretty stable I guess, I just don't like my temps at all.
Idle about 40, Full Load about 75-77, and it really shouldn't get to this temps, thats the whole point of the Mugen II, seems like it was not installed correctly.

I've tried these same settings warren300, any time I try to adjust my QPI volts over "auto" my box refuses to boot @ all.....

ok set ram voltage to 1.66 in bios which will be 1.64 in windows, dont leave qpi v on auto as it will overvolt........if you have a c0 chip youll need abit more qpi voltage or a bit more cpu voltage, try 1.34 qpi and 1.20000 cpu v.....you can always lower later once stable
