Default Please review my overclock X58A-UD3R

Thanks in advance! This is my first post here but I actually used lsdmeasasap's profile to overclock my 8400 awhile back. It worked like a gem! Thanks for that!

I believe I am getting close to a stable 4.2 ghz overclock. I have passed memtest, and can do 30min on prime95 small FFTs and Blend, but cannot let it run overnight without BSOD. My temps are ~70 at load, ~30 idle.
I recently upped my vCore one notch and will retest tonight. Please let me know if I am on the right track or if anything in the profile jumps out at you.

I am running Win7-64 and please see my sig for hardware.

I am also working on the issue of the RAM that is "hardware reserved". This has been a pain for stress testing.

also i would disable memory xmp and loosen your timings slightly, also try with c1e disabled<<<select balanced power saving profile in windows 7 power saving it does the same job only better(without mb noise)

    Yes, C1E should be disabled.

I advise you load optimized defaults and save/apply/reboot F10 BACK to the BIOS. Then set your SATA/Disk settings again first, then input these settings all over again. You are starting from Fail Safe settings, and that is not good at all. You can't simply change the values warren mentions and be good to go, there is settings that you cannot access that will be incorrect and cause you issues when you start with Fail Safe (Which you have done)

Way to much IOH core as well, please lower this to 1.2-1.24, often you can get away with stock 1.1 even. 1.3 is way to much

I see you have a 2GB stick missing from your memory, this is not a good sign. It is not reserved really, it is not picked up by your CPU, you will see N/A or - for one of your channels in the BIOS because of this. Expert instead of quick would need to be anabled so you could see each channel main timings to see this in effect. Hopefully with optimized loaded and some fresh settings it will be recognized again. If not you may have to check for bent CPU socket pins, or other causes.
