Setting everything manually doesn't tell us enough. Please post your failed "everything" bios settings that wouldn't post.
What values for MCH Core did you try? 1.10? 1.05? 1.20? 1.24? higher?

MCH Core that is too high or too low will often result in boot loops or instability.
    Most 2x2GB DDR2-1066 requires MCH Core = 1.20 - 1.24 volts.
As I recall, sometimes this setting needs 1.05 volts with GSkill 1066 4GB memory kits.

The remaining auto settings usually are OK with AUTO settings as long as you don't overclock your cpu speed.

Default Re: GA-EP45-UD3L "boot loop" with 4-dimms

Reluctantly, I returned the UD2L and got the UL3P. I realize its practically the same board, but I can use the firewire and learn something about RAID.

Anyway, 4x1GB @ 1066mhz is still a no-go, so it wasnt the board(unless by accident while installing that horrible Intel HSF). I found this on the G.Skill forum, basicly saying its a futile effort. I might mess with it sometime, but it runs 4x1GB @ 800 and 2x2GB @ 1066, both flawless in Windows 64. Thats enough for me. I just cant understand why Memtest86+ crashes.

Thanks for the help, Ill post back if anything changes.
