Question Pre-build questions to avoid problems

    Hello everyone,

Ok, below is what I have coming from NewEgg. Should be here around 2/24-25.

I have read others build problems, post & bios, mb not seeing hdds, Windows 7 cycling over and over especially with the oem disks, etc.

So i'm looking for advice, hopefully to head off any grief.
Like new build tips, do's and don'ts, how much hardware can bios recognize. Also any bios settings I might need to change with what I bought.

    Any help is appreaciated
    Thanks Tom

disable all floppy drives in the bios before you install win7 as it can cause problems, and if your using a usb keyboard/mouse makesure you enable them in bios for ps2 connections then you wont need to change them, and take care not to bend any cpu pins and not to over tighten the cpu heatsink, other than that you should be fine....win7 will automatically install all your chipset/lan/audio drivers.you can always update them later from gigabytes website dont use the motherboard disc as the drivers maybe outdated now
