    Well like I stated they were a nice safe reference point for overclocking the GA-x58A-UD5 with the i7 930. I have not been able to find much for setting via google and this was the first place that popped up and was exactly what I was looking for.

    So if the poster does not have a problem with it then I think the info would be useful for others looking for a helping hand with bios overclocking for this setup and maybe others will chip in their input.

    I'm pretty sure he didn't type all those bios setting out.. How did he copy them from the bios?

    Right now I'm running 4.43 with only about 8 hours to run prime and about 20 passes with intelburn standard and 5 at very high settings. So I'm petty sure I'm good to go there.

    I'm going to try and bump up again later to 212 but it seems once the memory gets around 1700MHz it starts to crap out. Not sure what to do different with the settings because I'm positive this processor will go much higher on water.

    In my signaute there is a template for all BIOS (Mostly).

    Users copy and paste then either fill them in from memory, or print out a template and then enter the BIOS and write them down then come back here and fill out a template in a thread.

    If you do post some settings, let us know what speed you want to try ram and CPU, then we can advise. As you know there is always a few ways to do things, and surely your ram should not be holding you back so maybe you just are not tinker correctly with your ram or uncore?

    Well here are my bios settings. My goal at this time would be to hit 4.5-4.6 but right now I've hit a wall and I'm not sure how to get around it. Everything seems to be running fine at 4.43 but 4.45 and above becomes unstable. I've even tried running the ram at 9-9-9-25-2 which doesn't seem to help.

    4.5 is fairly high anyway, so it could be anything. You tried x22 multi with a lower Bclk yet?

    Hey guys I almost forgot about this thread but here is the orginal Bios I posted BIOS in and this is for BIOS F4 (prime95 stable) There were a few things that might need to be tweaked but I recently updated Bios to F5 and BOY am I having a hard time reaching 4.3Ghz but 4.43Ghz as of now trying to go to also 4.51Ghz but having trouble here lol. seems like 4.43 might be max I think I will try x22 next and see whats up. Any questions let me know about bios below but they work solid as a rock for version F4.

    Finally after 1 day and many hours I have overclocked my OZC 1333Mhz memory timmings:

    OCZ Platinum DDR3-1333 OCZ3P1333LVA6GK (Animal Series) <----- Best memory I have ever used to date! Even though they are rated 1333 there is ALOT of room with some tweaking for overclockers!
    •DDR3-2000Mhz 9-9-9-24 2T at 1.66v vdimm, 1.50v QPI

    Even though these sticks are able to run 7-7-7-24 I was unable with that speed to get stable. Ran memtest for 7 hours 23 minutes all passes 6GB. At first i was having problem after running memtest getting stable in Intel Burn (I try and get stable in both Prime95 and Intel Burn) became a challenge for some reason but after tweaking figured it out I changed tRFC from 84 to 88 (made a huge difference in just being able to boot into windows and run Intel Burn test.

    I do believe those sticks are from when they had a bunch of left over 1866 IC Chips one time, so they put them into those sticks. I saw a thread at XS on it a few months back, it was one of the OCZ reps who said that too.

    I can't find the thread now, but I clearly remember it.

    I'm trying at the moment to get lower timmings I would love 7-7-7-24 running at this speed but having trouble stable as a rock at 9-9-24 what else can I do to lower this?
