    Default RAID array changes power on voltages

    I have achieved a stable setup using the bios settings below and a single 150GB WD Velociraptor. When I boot up my RAID 1 array with 2x300GB WD Velociraptor my voltages change and it's making the system unstable.

    The only difference between the two setups is the boot order. The first picture is using the single 150GB drive. I'll post the RAID screen shot next.

    This is what I get when I boot with my RAID 1 array. No other changes were made, only boot order.

    Which sata ports are each of the hard drives connected to?
    Are you using the purple GSata ports?

    Your ET6 "target" voltages are identical, the only difference is with the "power on" voltages.
    Describe in detail what the instability symptoms are, BSOD? Freeze? Boot issues?

    It might help if you post your bios settings that relate to your hard drive setup and raid configuration.

    After booting using your raid setup, what are the ET6 power on voltages when you next boot is using the WD150?

    Right! They voltages shown are identical?

    So which voltage was it you think is changing anyway?
