    Default GA-790XTA-UD4 - Marvell 9128 Drivers

How can I check to see if the drivers for Marvell 9128 SATA3 controller are installed? I reviewed the Device Manager but could not find the drivers that are provided by Marvell.

Just install them, then you will be sure.

If you need to check, I am sure you could find it listed in devices or somewhere else with Everest Ultimate, you can get a trial of that here

I tried the EverestUltimate and saw "Marvell" under the Physical Devices" but nothing about their drivers.

Just a thought Those Hitachi hard drives are SATA2=3GB's maximum or SATA300. You will not see a full speed benefit of the SATA3=6GB's maximum or SATA600 technology untill you change the Hard Drives. Please try again going into device manager and double click on storage controllers. Double click on the controllers. Click on the driver tab and see details of the drivers.

Try looking here in Everest, of course for AMD it will be different but I do think your chip you are asking about runs through the NB or SB as well.

Also, as said above your device manager should also show you, it may be in system devices
