    Actually I was wondering the same with the way you post things here? You are being so cryptic with your posts no one can understand to try to help you.

    You posted an image a page or so back saying it was your settings and your image, which it was not, it was my image of a BIOS I edited for my card. So no one really knows your info so how can anyone help?

    No one is using a digital camera, use print screen button, then paste in paint to show a image of whatever app you want to use to show your settings.

    If you really need help, tell everyone your exact card, and show an image of YOUR clocks you are currently using.

    You can use Radeon BIOS Editor:
    techPowerUp! :: Downloads

    You will also need this to grab the BIOS from your card using this with the above program:
    techPowerUp! :: Download ATI Winflash 2.0.1.11

    Or you can use this to show, but you will need to extract your BIOS so you can load it into the program.
    ReMOSitory :: mvk.tech :: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 285 275 260 ATI Radeon HD 4890 4870 4850 4830 :: MVKTech :: On the Edge of Technology

    You can extract your BIOS with this program GPU-z as well as the above programs (RBE and Winflash). With this, press the little green and black chip, right under the ATI Logo
    GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility

    If you are still unsure of how to work any of that, or how to take images of your screen, then just save your BIOS file and upload here so someone can look at it and advise you.

    Gigabyte has new BIOS updates out ,but they have cut down the voltage to 1.063 and it was 1.163 ,this could be causeing some problems,with the orignal BIOS it just had two settings 2D 850/1200 1.163v and 3D 850/1200 1.163v and now it has in Clock 00 850/1200 1.15 and the ones it uses is Clock 01 157/1200 1.063v and Clock 02 600/1200 1.063v and on High Clock 03 850/1200 1.063v,so if you update to the new Bios you lose some voltage .1v which is a lot for a video card ,mine would do 950/1250 with the orignal Bios ,but the HD video was messed up ,now that it works so,so it want overclock like it used to.What is a good Bios to flash to and everthing work like it supposed to.I know flashing to a different brand voids the warranty but I have $830 worth of cards and a $200 Blu-ray burner and I want it to work right ,has anyone tried flashing the SO model to the UD model and had any sucess.

    Yes I will more then likely flash it to a asus or saphire or to something to get it to work right ,if possible.I have always had good luck with gigabyte products ,but I have also always ran nvidia cards ,but they just draw to much power and run way to hot ,and they have other problems ,like a loud fan.The HD5870's runs my games just fine ,but I bought a Blu-ray Burner and this is where it let me down.I wish I could send them back and get a different brand .The heatsink and fans is what sold me ,because they are quiet IMO.I had Three GTX 280's in Tri SLI and it was fast ,I just wanted to have a DX 11 card.I am sure I will find something to make them work right .I just don't want to end up with a dead card.

    if its just your blu ray drive thats causing problems try updating the firmware for it,is it an lg drive??? does your card freeze when loading games sometimes?? ive only owned sapphire cards and my last card was faultless so im thinking this one is faulty,as for nvidia there new fermi cards are power hungry and are clocked alot lower than 5xxx series

    I think if you flash your gigabyte non ref card to an asus or sapphire bios, you are gonna brick your card

    Someone wanna try overclock it to the 5870 Super Overclock model ?

    I really would try to get as much performance out of my 5870 Ultra Durable model, so I would be keen to overclock it
