I contacted gigabyte again and told them that there new Bios update reduces the 3D voltage from 1.163v to 1.063v.Now I get BSOD at 850/1200 and it used to clock at 950/1225,but I kept it at 900/1200 but now it want even run at that speed.I know they know peole are haveing all kinds of trouble with this card if you want to use a Blu-ray recorder or player. It works fine just playing games.I just don't understand why they put out new BIOS's and reduce the 3D voltage ,I can see reduceing it at 2D but not at 3D.I will wait and see what there answer is this time, they are playing dumb Like I don't know what I am talking about.I wrote it as clear as I new how again. All they need to do is just raise the 3D voltage back to what is used to be ,.1v is a lot for a video card.I know how to take the GV-R587SO-1GD Bios out ,but what I don't know is it the same card or does it have a different PCB set-up.I may brick it but I have seen to many people flashing to a saphire BIOS and it works just fine. But I would like to keep it with a gigabyte bios.

^^ you can extract the gigabyte bios using gpu-z,then modify it in radeon bios editor, open it up and set the voltage to original then flash it back into the card, thatway you will keep the original gigabyte bios but with raised voltage

That is what I am going to try first ,I would like to keep it with a gigabyte BIOS .I will use GPU-z to get my Bios after I flash it to the F6 Bios from Gigabyte, then I will change the voltage and flash it again, because if I use the Bios that on it now ,it just has two setting 2D and 3D and both say the same thing 850/1200 1.163v. After flashing to the F6 BIOS it has 5 setttings ,it just the voltage is 1.063v on all of them instead of 1.163v like the orignal had on it. .IS the Beta BIOS from gigabyte that says cyppbeta really a gigabyte BIOS.

have you looked on techpowerup bios database?? it will have all gigabytes bios on there,i downloaded a bunch for my sapphire but it would only flash with a few of them, the others wernt the same revision board so it wouldnt flash but it wont brick the board it just will say system id error

theres just two bios's on there read details before downloading and compare the bios version numbers
