    Btw my graphics card makes like a slight screaming noise when i scroll up or down or even like a little moving youtube clip..
    what sign could that be? my card is the GV-587UD-1GD
    *plus* the simplest way to OC...
    i tried reading it can't do it myself... got the programs RBE GPUZ and CPUZ and autotune6.... and im like so overwhelmed here...

    where do you hear the noise? through speakers? or headphones or both? you need to route the front panel audio cable away from the gpu to reduce it when you have headphones on,disableing c1e will help in bios and enable balanced power saving profile in windows 7 or minimal power management in power options if you have xp(they do same job as c1e but without any noise)

    it's coming from the graphics card like a UFO noise sort of...

    yh its like a chirping electrical sound, disable c1e in bios it will help,what brand of psu you have?

    you might have better luck with a different brand psu like corsair hx 750w,but not 100% sure it would eliminate the noise

    its in the m.i.t section then advanced cpu features,then disable just c1e

    It's ok, I will keep it like this, even if it's 1,3V it should be safe, I've seen that MSI and Asus allow 1,35V with Afterburner and Smart Doctor, I assume it should ok also for GB.
    The heatsink comes off very easily, unless you are scared of that type of thing - which you shouldn't be when we are already discussing hard mods :)

    I'm nor scared to take it off, the problem is that I should run the card without heatsink which will fry it in a few seconds, or do you think I could measure voltage without switching on the pc?
