You said you ran 2 sticks in channel B with same behavior, that mean 2 sticks one in slot 3 and the second in slot 4? Have you tested with one stick in each of those slots?
what were the settings when tested each stick in slot 1?

Set CPU Vcore = 1.34375 (1 click higher)
    Set CPU PLL = 1.57

You might need to try additional tests with MCH Core = 1.26 - 1.30

Rerun IBT tests with memory = 1024, 2048, and 4096MB.
If an IBT tests fails, there is no need to run additional IBT tests with larger amounts of memory.

When i ran 2 sticks in channel B i had it in fail safe mode settings. Since i have loaded optimized settings then plugged all the other settings in I have not tryed just two sticks.

I will try the new Vcore and PLL settings and let you know the outcome.

I fail to see the reason for such a high VTT at 266MHz FSB or for tRFC 76 for DDR-800.
There is realy no point trying to get 8GB stable without knowing there is no other problem, such as faulty slot or memory module.

Your sugnature states EP45-UD3P rev. 1.0 and BIOS FD, those two are not meant for each other.
Please recheck your board rev. (printed at the corner near the far PCI slot I/O panel side,) and BIOS version.

Board rev. 1.6 has a new BIOS FE which improve memory compatibility.
Before you update your BIOS, if you choose to do so, read http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/bios...h-guide-27576/
Flash with only one memory stick in slot #1, Load optimized defaultsm and change the following:
    Code:
    Performance Enhance...................: [Standard]
    Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.).....: [Disabled]
    And then flash.

Wether you choose to update or not, I suggest to begin testing with one pair of memory at dual channel mode, one pair in slots 1 & 3, and the other pair in slots 2 & 4.

You can use Easytune and Memset to test various setting in windows, if you keep track of what changes helped this can save you some time. Don't mess with Ref settings this way though, and in either app do not use "Save" only "Apply"

Alright so i do have Board Rev 1.6 I swear it was a zero when i looked last. Im retarded!
Anyway! I flashed it with FE followed directions and loaded optimal settings and entered the following settings below.

I ran Intel Burn Test 10 loops on 1024, 2048, and 4096 and they passed.

So for ****s and grins i ran LinX 10 loops on 4096 and it passed as well.

Do i need to run a exteneded session of Prime95 now?

It couldn't hurt, sometimes Prime will find errors IBT does not.

Nice to see you found a good BIOS that agrees with your hardware!

    ^^+0.9 (okay, ^^+1 .... sheesh)

IBT and LinX are excellent, fairly quick initial stress tests.
Many times my system has passed one or both tests, only to have Prime95 or OCCT fail, where the error sometimes occurred after 8 - 10 hours.
If IBT or LinX tests fail, I don't run extended stress tests until I've made additional tweaks where I then repeat the initial IBT and/or LinX tests.
I also like to test with the OCCT PSU test for several hours, where your system is stressing your video card, cpu and memory at the same time.
There are many additional stress tests your can/should run, depending on what intensive applications you run, such as demanding games, encoding, etc.

Was your most recent test using 8GB of memory?

With 8GB of memory running at 800MHz, tRFC = 54 - 56 (or possibly a bit lower) might be stable.
Naturally, you will need to repeat your stress tests every time you make additional changes.

Save your current bios settings as a saved bios profile using F11 at the main bios screen. F12 is used to load an existing saved bios profile.
You can save up to 8 different bios profiles, each with a unique profile name.
You can't delete an existing saved profile, but you can replace an existing profile with a new profile where you keep the same name or you can give the new profile a different name.
You should always save your bios settings as a TXT file and also save a hard copy of each bios profile.
