Default P35-ds4 will not accept 8gb of ram. Help appreciated!

    Ok. Here´s the deal.
I wanted to upgrade my computer so i got the following:
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2,66Ghz
MSI GeForce GTX 260 896MB(Don't think that's relevant but...)
    and
    2 x Kingston DDR2 HyperX PC6400 4GB kit Matched.

The MB is an P35-ds4 which i had from the beginning.

Everything worked out fine until i tried to start my computer with 8gb of memory filling all slots.
It freezes in BIOS, it gives me all kinds of wierd errors(like bootmngr errors, blue screens and so on)
sometimes it just hangs up in start up and it reboots then and again. All this without even getting close to start windows( Vista Ultimate 64 btw)

Before i had 4GB ram filling all mem. slots and it worked fine.
The computer is running fine with only one of the pairs (4gb) but that's not why i bought 8gb :o)

    This is what i've tried:
I've tested all mem. cards separately. Each one is working fine.
I've tried all kinds of positions, switching the cards back and forth.
    Upgraded BIOS to f14(the latest?)
I tried increasing voltage by 0,10 and 0,15 resulting in nothing.
and probably something else that i cant remember now.

Suffice to say nothing of this solved my problem so i wonder if anyone else has any ideas.
    Help would be much appreciated!

8GB is your issue, this takes some tinkering to get going for many people.

I am sure I can help you get it going, can you please grab a template from my signature and give us your current full settings then we can advise back.

Be sure you are starting with optimized defaults, not fail safe. Thanks

Why you say that? If you mean cause you would have to get out your memory, ect you don't have to do that. You can find the model # listed in SPD Tab of CPU-z, post a image of it if you want

Check PC Health Status for applied memory voltage, if 1.9v or around it it's ok, otherwise set DDR2 OverVoltage +0.1.
Set MCH OverVoltage +0.1, then +0.125, and +0.15 if not enough.
Are both kits identical and were bought at the same time?

Yep. The kits were bought at the same time and they are identical.
    I got the stuff yesterday.

It would be a good idea to test each kit, one in slots 1 & 3 and the other in slots 2 & 4, run a few memtest86+ passes to make sure both the kits and the slots are not faulty.
