If you do test with all USB items removed, be sure to remove the dongle you mention and test with USB Legacy Storage Detect disabled and enabled.

So got up today to find that once again my flatmates pc would turn on and boot up fine but mine wouldnt... Wish i knew why grrrrrrrr

So i dont have to go and dig for the manual, whats the blue led on the top right corner of the motherboard? It flashes in times with the clicks i think?

I agree, this is very odd. Mine always boots up fine, sorry fella's!

I am trying to help, wish you were here we could all trade hardware until we found the cause! That is Bclk Freq LED, higher ther Bclk the more Blue LED's are lit. Those will cycle with C1

Well no news on this yet, and my contact has gotten back to me on a few other things the past few days, so that might be a good thing.

It may mean they have been able to reproduce the issues themselves and are now working on a fix? Just a guess, but no news as of yet, sorry.

Just wanted to let you guys know in case you read the other threads today that I posted updates from Gigabyte, didn't want you to think I forgot.

Lets hope so, I have some news as well though sadly i really dont think its going to help that much which is a pity as id like to get this sorted so other people dont face this problem.

I cant believe im saying this but today my pc turned on with no warning screen! Though i wish i knew why, all i changed last night was my hard drive from IDE to ACHI (my flatmate is still on IDE and boots fine) Will see what happens on the next cold boot and will def let you know

    Hmmmmm..............

Lets hope it does that again, and again. Then maybe we have something else that may be part of the cause?

I think you shouldn't change anything at all!

Not until you can test this a few more times with the system as it is now.
